Loved the game since I read it originally! You captured such a strong emotional conflicttttt, this want that so many humans share- just the want to be wanted.

The voice acting added so much to this! Alex's lines hit so much more, and Adam felt even more nonchalant oh godddddd. (some of the Adam line deliveries were so Chrys, I see what you meant! Although, it was evident in the text by itself!)

The sex scene was really well done, I love the pop ups and the changes in the CG. Alex may be sad, and going through it- BUT HE LOOKS GOOD DOING IT (also he's got that schlang on him good lord o_o- not complaining lolol)

The monochromatic backgrounds is so cool and adds to this cold detached feeling!

The musiccccccc, music adds so much for me and you always pick the right one.

I knew what was to come at the end (pun not intended LOL) and it still hit me hard, I hope Alex gets a happy ending of some sort in Namida. (And Adam too...I guess lolol jkjk, I hope everyone finds something that works for them!)

I am so proud of you for doing something outside of your comfort zone and really delivering! This was super enjoyable, and I am not surprised it's getting attention lolol!

This was such a fun experience! Even though I beta read for this, the game felt entirely different (in a good way) and kept me on my toes!

The characterization of everyone is amazing, just like all of Chim's games tbh. I'm always impressed with how much you can learn and feel for these characters, even in short segments, but I think it's just a testament to his talent and skill. 

Each time I play one of his games, there is always SOME improvement (which I am always shocked by, because each time I think things were perfect and can't fathom how it can improve BUT HE DOES!!). 

You can really tell how much Chim cares about his games and characters, and how much effort goes into everything. No matter what he does, it always ends up AMAZING. This game is no different.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND you download it to get the full experience, because LAWD does Alex pack a surprise ;)

The poison is there and it's coursing in Alex's poor little man-attracted veins and holy shit. Holy shit it hurts. I don't know how to explain it but this game made me feel a little... hollow? Like, gods, the way things are, the feeling that is there, that sweet taste of what is killing you, aaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

OK I HAVE PLAYED IT TWICE DLKAJLFDSKJA.

Though I admittedly became more and more morose each time GOD???? Maybe not the best choice. Now I can feel all the residual emotions and angsty feels weighing heavily on my heart lkdjfads 💦 (I say despite clearly being a sucker for emotional pain LOL)

I found myself a bit conflicted -- because on the one hand, while not being able to quite put myself in Alex's shoes (FOR OBVIOUS REASONS LOLOL) I can still at least relate to wanting more from someone else than what they're able to or willing to give. And that made my heart ache for him a lot. But I got a weird conflicted vibe from Adam. I disliked him for Alex's sake and what he was doing to Adam and how horrible he would make Alex feel because of the situation, but the feeling I got from him was that he truly doesn't even realize that what he's doing is hurting Alex so much. And to me it felt very much like the case of someone incredibly immature who thought everything was perfectly all right and everyone was happy with the situation when clearly that's not the case. Also it seemed very much to me that Adam is quite naiive in the matters of like, love and sex and romance. And that Adam himself isn't even quite sure of his own thoughts and feelings on the matter, for instance, some of what he said about the difference between friends and partners, etc. AND SO LIKE??? I SOMEHOW ALSO FELT BAD FOR HIM, TOO. Even though he's being quite selfish and unthinking, it doesn't feel like he's doing it really on purpose lakdjfas (and so my gut is that at some point in the future............. maybe not with this specific situation, but something's definitely going to come back and bite him in the butt and send things spiraling for him LOL)

LIKE IN MY MIND I WAS LIKE. ALEX YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS. BECAUSE IT SEEMS ADAM DOESN'T EVEN KNOW. BECAUSE YOU'RE BOTH SEEING THIS RELATIONSHIP FROM A VERY DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE. But I also realize this is incredibly difficult LMAO So it just feels like this really miserable unavoidable situation between two people that can't seem to escape from each other yet with both cause trouble with each other (like right now, in Alex's case, where he just feels awful and used but can't stop it, and possibly in the future in Adam's case).

There's just so much at play here LAKDSJFADS SO THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR CREATING SUCH A CONVOLUTED COMPLEX EMOTIONAL SITUATION IN SUCH A SHORT GAME BECAUSE IT'S DOING THINGS TO MY HEAD AND HEART AND INSIDES GODDDDD 😭

It was extremely well done. All of it. Admittedly I can't really say much about the [REDACTED] bits EVEN THO I DID PLAY IT I GOT A BIT SHY AND PLAYED IT A BIT QUICKLY 💦 But I really enjoyed how you set up the composition of the scene with Adam and the little side images of Alex so we could see his emotions, too. The song was also a great choice. It continued to inject convoluted melancholy straight into my ears even after I finished the game and went back to the menu ldkjasd

I'm finding it quite fascinating now comparing this to Katekyo's First Date. Not only in the completely different ways they approach intimate matters, but also even from how they're set up from a narrative perspective. With Katekyo, we're placed straight in his head. Given access to his thoughts. While with Adam's game, we're put in the head of a different person, and so we're only given a glimpse of Adam from the outside, leaving the real Adam a bit more of a mystery. We only know about him what he says out loud and what we know about the situation, but we're not given access to his head and thoughts like we were with Katekyo. This is very interesting to me and I don't know what it means...

A part of me still wants to slap Adam upside the head a bit though and grow up and think about others a bit more LOL

Hmm. AT ANY RATE. I quite enjoyed this, just as I thoroughly enjoy all of your games. I liked how while it did give us this little glimpse of Adam, it ended up instilling so many more questions in the meantime, which has just made me even more curious about everything that's going on here outside of the little snapshots we've been given so far. WHICH IS ALL JUST MAKING ME THAT MUCH MORE EAGER FOR WHEN WE'LL GET MORE OF THE LARGER NAMIDA STORY???? And ofc I am still in awe of how you can keep putting out these complete little games with all these different stories and characters and vibes lakdfasd

An excellent introduction to the BEST Namida brother...

Jokes aside, this was a really well-done introduction to Adam's character! I'll start off with the art - it is very good, with a lot of attention and detail put into the rendering of the anatomy. However, more so than the erotic scenes, I was impressed by the stylistic choices put into other aspects. The background is sparse and empty, rendered in simple red and black shades, reflecting the hollowness of Alex's relationship with Adam. In Adam's main CG, Adam is in full view, rendered in full detail - while the background behind him is almost entirely blank, reflecting Alex's fixation on the objection of his affections. The erotica is well-written! It felt very sensual while also serving to characterize the leads (the climax was...something, but it was very fitting to the characters and the title). The VAs did a fantastic job, and the BGM is fitting for setting the vibe. 

SLIGHT SPOILERS

I was already a bit familiar with the characters going into this so I might be biased, but I think that this did a wonderful job of introducing you to these characters. I could really understand why Alex felt so drawn to Adam, both due to his past and Adam himself. From what we learn, Alex is lonely and desperate for affection, unhappy with the gangster life that he's found himself in. Adam is sexy and charismatic, but beyond that he's a comforting presence - he looks out for Alex's needs, treats him like a friend, and gives Alex space to be vulnerable. Adam is "poison" - he's the "drug" that Alex needs to forget about his troubles, to survive. However, at the same time, Adam is cruel. He doesn't try to be, but his neglect towards the people around him is quite apparent, and it is clear that continuing to stay with Adam will only lead to heartbreak for Alex. The game did an excellent job of portraying the nuanced relationship between these two "sex friends" - how their relationship goes beyond just the physical, and how that makes it all the more poisonous. 

*sigh* You made me sympathize with Adam...(I'm seeing the hints you're dropping here, and it made me feel for him...a smidgen...)

Overall, this was really quite good! (And such a stark distinction from Katekyo's game, haha!)
